Digital Portfolio

For the Digital Portfolio module we were given a brief to design a flash based website on an artist or designer, the portfolio was to showcase their work. I designed the website theme around a kind of robot feel as the designer I chose had a few robot illustrations in the gallery. The website was coded in ActionScript 3.0 and designed in Adobe Flash CS4.


















On the homepage the robot on screen is animated to pull the leaver to produce the name of the designer.

On the gallery pages the thumbnails are within a scroller where the user can move through the images and click to view them on screen.

3D Modelling - Iron Forge city

University project for 3D modelling virtual worlds module, consisted of modelling this city, fully modelled, textured and rendered with an added camera perspective in Autodesk Maya and composited in Adobe After Effects CS4. Textures where edited in Adobe Photoshop CS4.

Summer placement - Adverts

Also as part of my summer placement I designed car adverts for the local newspaper, and yes I did also have to come up with the slogans, found that the hardest part of it all!

Summer placement - Web design

In summer 2009 I undertook a placement as part of the marketing team in Bassadone LTD. I re-designed the website homepage and various other pages on the website. I also created an e-mailer so that the company could send out monthly updates to their clients. Here are some of the images.
